While headquartered in Taiwan, these corporations in the above table have established manufacturing plants in China. As I’ve spent more than 5 years in DC fan industry, I’ve observed a few significant reasons for this business strategy.
1. First, the cost of labor in China is significantly lower compared to Taiwan. Manufacturing, especially in electronics, is labor-intensive.
